More Than a Motorcycle

He retired from building custom BMW motorcycles and sold his factory, but kept a favorite bike as a reminder of his life’s work. We designed a display that lets him live with that memory, giving the motorcycle the presence of an artwork rather than a place in a garage. He sold his motorcycle factory but kept a favorite custom BMW—a reminder of his life’s work. We gave it the presence of art, without turning the home into a garage.

The Room Comes Together

We treated the long living wall as one composition, giving the display and fireplace their own place without letting either take over. Broad areas of warm wood soften the stone, while light picks out the open shelves. The result is a room with a strong focal point and an easy, balanced rhythm. We brought the display and fireplace together in one balanced wall, so neither takes over. Warm wood softens the stone, and softly lit shelves give the living room a calm, welcoming glow.

Evenings Together

This is a place to sit together without needing a special occasion. We used a gentle flame effect to add atmosphere to evenings spent talking with family and guests or enjoying a film.A gentle flame effect sets the mood for evenings with family and friends—talking, watching a film, or simply being together.

A Kitchen with a Joyful Spirit

The starting point was her wish for a kitchen that felt joyful and expressive, not like a workstation. The design removes the walls that enclosed the kitchen, opening the layout for that idea. Illuminated glass cabinets and a glowing glass backsplash give the design its sparkle, bringing her love of bright, fashionable things into a room with a personality of its own.She wanted a joyful kitchen, not a workstation.
